Medan – The Language Center organized a BIPA (Indonesian for Foreign Speakers) training program attended by a participant from Japan. This program is part of the Language Center’s effort to strengthen the role of the Indonesian language on the international stage while also enhancing cross-country educational cooperation.

The BIPA training is specifically designed to help foreign speakers learn Indonesian systematically, starting from basic vocabulary, grammar, and communication skills for everyday situations. In addition to language learning, participants are also introduced to Indonesian culture as an essential part of the learning process.

During the program, participants received interactive learning materials and opportunities to directly practice using Indonesian through various conversation exercises. The communicative learning method is expected to help participants understand language use contextually, both in academic and social environments.

The Language Center remains committed to supporting the internationalization of the Indonesian language through the implementation of high-quality BIPA programs. This activity is expected to increase international interest in learning Indonesian while strengthening educational and cultural cooperation between Indonesia and Japan.

Through this training, participants are expected to use Indonesian more confidently and serve as a bridge for communication in cross-cultural interactions in the future.
