The Language Center Welcomes International Participants to the Language Program International Internships
Medan, January 19, 2026 — The USU Language Center organized the Language Program International Internships as part of its efforts to promote educational internationalization and strengthen global cooperation in the fields of language and culture.
The program is attended by four international participants: Rae Gibson, Layla Creek, Chelcee Whittingslow, and Tehya Hiller. This program is designed to enhance Indonesian language proficiency for foreign speakers while providing a comprehensive introduction to Indonesian culture and the academic environment.
Throughout the program, participants will engage in Indonesian language learning, communication practice, and various supporting activities that are educational and cultural in nature. Through this program, participants are expected to gain meaningful learning experiences while also strengthening international cooperation.
The USU Language Center remains committed to delivering high-quality programs that support cultural exchange and the development of internationally oriented education.
