The Indonesian Language for Foreign Speakers (BIPA) class for participants of the Developing Countries Partnership (KNB) Program officially began with in-person learning on September 7. The class is attended by three participants from Syria, Tanzania, and Madagascar.
The participants are Ali Ali from Syria, Abdul-Latif Juma Said from Tanzania, and Ramarozakahery Yvan Gael from Madagascar.
The BIPA class is held every Monday to Friday, from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. During the class, participants learn Indonesian for use in their daily communication while taking part in the program and staying in Indonesia.
The face-to-face learning activities allow participants to interact directly with the instructor and practice using Indonesian throughout the lessons. The learning materials are tailored to the participants’ needs, both for communication inside and outside the classroom.
Through the BIPA class, participants are expected to improve their Indonesian language skills and communicate and adapt more easily during their stay in Indonesia.
The class will continue to be held regularly according to the established schedule.
